Who we are
Skein is operated independently and runs at myskein.com. You can reach us via the contact link in the footer.
What we collect
Account: when you unlock results we store your email address (via our authentication provider, Supabase) and — only if you tick the box — your newsletter consent. Your calculations are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers.
Analytics & cookies
We use Vercel Analytics (cookieless) and Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic: where visitors come from, device type, country, and which features are used. Google Analytics sets cookies only after you accept in the consent banner; if you decline, it runs in a cookieless mode. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Authentication emails
Sign-in codes and account emails are sent via Resend from noreply@myskein.com. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
Your rights
You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Under the GDPR you may also withdraw consent at any time.
